Who it's for

  • You know something is wrong with a technology programme, platform or team, but you do not yet have a reliable view of what it is or how serious it is.
  • Existing reporting tells you things are under control, but the evidence does not match that picture.
  • You need an independent assessment you can take to your board, leadership team or regulator: not an internal view from the people running the programme.
  • A vendor, integrator or internal team is active, but you cannot tell whether they are delivering the right things or whether the situation is improving.
  • You are considering a full recovery engagement but want a trusted diagnostic before committing to scope and investment.

Scope and format

Two weeks, remote-first. We conduct executive interviews, a technical discovery session, an architecture and security review, vendor and delivery analysis, risk mapping and an operational assessment. The architecture and security review checks the same ground our Azure engagements are built on: hub-spoke network design, Entra ID and Zero Trust configuration, and infrastructure-as-code coverage, so any gap shows up against a working standard rather than a generic checklist. Senior architects do the work. You give us access to the systems in scope, one technical point of contact, and time with your technology leadership. The engagement closes with a written report and a readout session.

What you get

Crisis Situation Assessment

A structured account of the current state across the systems, programmes and teams in scope. Separates confirmed facts from assumptions and identifies the gaps in current visibility.

Root-Cause Findings

The underlying causes of the situation, separated from symptoms. Written so a non-technical executive can read it and a technical team can act on it.

Technology Risk Register

Every material risk identified during discovery, rated by likelihood and impact, with the owner and the decision needed from leadership.

Executive Problem Statement

A single, clear statement of the situation suitable for board, investor or regulator communication. No jargon, no hedging.

Critical Decision Log

The decisions that must be made and by whom to move the situation from uncontrolled to controlled. Includes the information needed to make each one.

Communications draft

A first-pass internal and, where needed, external communications draft aligned to the Executive Problem Statement, so leadership is not writing crisis messaging from a blank page.

Pricing

A fixed fee of €5,000. The scope above is the scope and it does not expand without a separate agreement.

The full fee is credited against the first Technology Crisis Management engagement invoice if you proceed within eight weeks of the diagnostic readout.

Where your data sits

We work inside your environment. Nothing is extracted to external systems. A signed NDA and data processing agreement are in place before any discovery work begins. For DACH clients, work stays within the Germany West Central Azure region where cloud infrastructure is in scope. Access is revoked on completion or at any point on request.

Governance & compliance

  • All work governed by a signed NDA and data processing agreement before start.
  • Access scoped to the diagnostic and revoked on completion.
  • Findings documented to the standard your board, auditor or regulator expects.
  • Vendor-neutral: we hold no reseller relationship with any supplier active in your environment.

Common questions

What does the two weeks include?

Discovery, executive interviews, technical analysis and the readout session. The written report is delivered before the readout so you can read it in advance.

Who do you need access to?

Your technology leadership for interviews, one technical point of contact, and read access to the systems in scope. We do not need write access at any point.

What if we want you to continue after the diagnostic?

The €5,000 is credited in full against the first Technology Crisis Management engagement invoice, provided you proceed within eight weeks of the readout.

Do you sign an NDA before starting?

Yes. An NDA and data processing agreement are in place before any discovery work begins.

Who actually runs the diagnostic?

The same senior architects who lead every Pavicore engagement do the interviews, the technical analysis and the readout. No junior team is handed the assessment and reports back to you secondhand.

How quickly can the two weeks start?

As soon as the NDA and data processing agreement are signed and we have the technical point of contact and system access confirmed. The two-week clock starts on day one of discovery, not on the day we first speak.

What happens in the readout session itself?

You receive the written report first, so the session is not the first time anyone sees the findings. It walks through the Executive Problem Statement, the risk register and the specific decisions we are asking your board or leadership team to make.

Can the diagnostic run without our current vendor or delivery team knowing?

We can scope the interviews and access discreetly if the situation calls for it, though a security or infrastructure review usually surfaces regardless. We agree the visibility level with you before starting, not after.

What if the diagnostic finds the situation is not as serious as feared?

Then the report says so, with the evidence. A diagnostic that rules out a crisis is still useful; it lets you redirect attention and budget to what the evidence actually shows.

Is the €5,000 fee negotiable for a narrower scope?

No. The fixed fee covers the full method: interviews, technical discovery, architecture and security review, risk mapping. A narrower read without that coverage would not give your board a defensible answer.
